sneaky little stinker

When Zach randomly announces that he is "just fine," I know that he is, in fact, not just fine and that my intervention is needed immediately. Such was the case a few days ago while he was playing the Wii. He shouted out to me in the other room where I was cleaning in the kitchen that he was "just fine." I rushed to discover what the problem was only to discover that he was in the midst of a number two incident. After resolving the situation, I headed back to the family room to institute the consequence that always follows an accident-confiscation of all things regarding screens only to find no remotes. So I started to investigate. After looking under cushions, under pillows, under beanbags, and on the tv console, they were still missing. I continued to search some more and discovered the jackpot under the couch. Zach had hidden the Wii remotes, the DSi, and the mouse in an effort to stave off his consequence. He is sneaky, and sometimes he stinks.
