I find it odd that February is the shortest month since it seems to drag on with no end in sight for weeks and weeks. Four of them to be exact. This month has been long and sluggish for me. David has been very busy with his responsibilities. Zach has taken to waking up early. Like consistently 5:30 early. With the occasional before 5:00 rising. His record is 4:17. I think I slept in until 7:00 one time so far during the month of February. You know it is bad when you consider 7:00 sleeping in. So, when he naps, I nap. And Sarah had Winter Break. For an entire week. Who gets the break, anyway? Who thought it would be a good idea to take a break in the middle of the winter? When it is freezing outside. At least we didn't have to leave the house and brave the cold. We've been in survival mode. I've started in on an old habit--mini m&ms in the snack size eaten entire packs at a time. Usually right around dinner time. A girl has got to survive. Fortunately (or unfortunately perhaps), they are only sold at Valentine's Day and Halloween. I happened to find some on sale buy one bag get one bag free and snatched them up in late January. I'm down to the last four packs. I think it is a sign that February must end and March (with its spring-like tendencies) must arrive. Of course, I just discovered that they sell the tubes at Costco in the mega size. I was strong on my last visit and refrained from buying them. I should probably not go back there. The temptation might be too strong.

back on the wagon

They sell the mini packs at Easter time as well - so keep an eye out at the store soon. I have my own addiction to them as well.
Do you get addicted to the Cadbury Creme Eggs too?
Wyatt has been waking up early too, like 4 or 5. I just let him cry. Sometimes he goes back to sleep until 6 or cries until 6. Ugh. Luckily Eric says he has to get up anyways so he gets up with him.
