it's not easy being skinny

It's just not easy when you're skinny, and you go to get on your tricycle, and your shorts slide down around your ankles. It makes it really tough to climb on and ride. It's really a bummer!
So you just reach down and pull them up. And tug and tug and tug...
until you finally get them up.
Then you take a few steps, and the silly things fall down again!
You spend most of your day tugging your shorts up. And all your mean mom does is take pictures, laugh at you, and blog about it!

Someone asked me at church how I taught him to pull his pants up. Pretty much I just make him wear shorts that are too big for him (even when folded over), and he figures it out for himself.

Ha ha! Calvin has the same problem. I finally solved it in the summer by making him wear shorts that are 1-2 years younger than him. Unfortunately in the winter pants season, this results in some serious floods so we're still working on a solution. Let me know if you come up with any brilliant ideas.

Poor Zach! He's such a doll. Wyatt has problems fitting into shorts too. He is actually wearing 12-18 months, they are the only ones that don't fall off of him!
