• upon arrival at grandma and grandpa's house in Utah: "These phones that plug into the wall are awesome. We should totally get one."
• at grandma and grandpa's house in Utah when she went to get a soda: "Why is there a toilet in your soda room?" They have always kept their soda in a half bath in their house. Always will, too. I'm not sure the room has ever functioned as a bathroom--just as soda storage.
