After it snowed for a solid twelve hours, we were snowed in. The kids could not have been more pleased. When the neighbor kids headed out to "shovel," Zach and Sarah headed out to "help." While very little shoveling took place, there were plenty of snow angels, too many snowballs, and several instances of little people with short legs getting stuck and having to be pulled out of the snowdrifts. We were thrilled with our snowblower until it ran out of gas. We were more thrilled when the neighbor got his car free, and we were able to use it to get more gas. We were most thrilled when the driveway and sidewalks were free of snow. And then we were happy to come inside, eat grilled cheese sandwiches, and watch a movie in our nice, warm house. We will probably be happier when the snow has melted.

Those snow pictures are great. I wondered how you guys fared with the snow closing airports and stuff. Sounds like a good snow day.
