crazy pregnant lady dreams

While I am so tired of being pregnant, I must admit that it has been a wild ride this time around. Especially when it comes to how incredibly vivid my dreams have been. Over the past nine months, I have had several that I don't think I will ever forget.

The most memorable occurred in the early fall. In this dream, David came home from work one day and told me he had gone ahead and sold the house and bought a new one. Surprisingly, in the dream, I was not at all concerned about this as it seemed completely logical for him to have done this. I simply accepted it and prepared to move to the new house which was somewhere in a very rural area. When we got to the new house to move in, I was surprised to find that the people who had been living there had not yet moved out. I was concerned about this and told David that he needed to find the people and tell them to move their stuff out so that we could move in. It was then that I met David's other wives who were already living in the house...Oddly enough, I remember not being too upset by this other wives situation but instead thinking that maybe I could be the hobby wife. The other wives could take care of the cooking, the cleaning, the children, and I could be the wife that just had hobbies.

In another dream, we were driving somewhere in the car. Well, Zach was driving, and the rest of us were passengers. I remember distinctly that there were five people in the car, but when I looked around at all of the people in the car (David's parents, my parents, David, me, Sarah, Zach, & others), there were significantly more than four people in the car. It was just a car, and yet, somehow, we weren't at all crowded. No one was wearing seat belts. It was like one of those clown cars, I guess. We were pulled over by a policeman, and the policeman was so concerned about the fact that we weren't wearing seat belts. He didn't seem to mind at all that a four year old who couldn't even reach the pedals was driving. I was sure that at any moment he would notice the four year old driver, but he never did.

In early January a good friend of mine had a baby. A few days before she had her baby, I dreamt that we both went into labor at the same time and had babies on the same day even though I was not due for another month still. The best part of this dream was that we both gave birth to more than one baby. She delivered half of the cast of the Star Wars characters, and I had the other half. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to recall who had which characters. I'm hoping she ended up with Darth Vader while I got Princess Leia.

Just a few nights ago was my last crazy pregnant lady dream. In my dream, I went to the hospital for my scheduled induction only the baby simply would not be born. They tried everything, but the baby would not come out. Finally, in desperation, they decided to do an ultrasound to discover what the problem was. During the ultrasound they found that the baby was only two pounds and four ounces. They told me that I would have to be pregnant for six more weeks. I was distraught and told them to just get that baby out right away. Then I woke up.
