Here is Sarah with her bestest teacher, Ms. M, on the last day of school. Although I have loved having Sarah in kindergarten, I was relieved to have the year over with. Getting her up and ready for school every day, snack and lunch and notes and everything else in hand, by 8:20 was a bit of a chore. Being there to pick her up at 3:00 on the dot was also a challenge. We are certainly ready for a summer break and hopefully some sleeping in and lazing about. As I walked over to pick her up, her teacher said, "I am really going to miss this one. She has been my special helper all year long." That sure makes a mom feel good. On the way home, I told Sarah I couldn't believe she was a first grader now. She looked at me in disbelief and told me that she wasn't.

last day of school
