zach strikes again

• location: evening activity at the elementary school
• culprit: wet grass and therefore wet shoes and wet pants
• behavior: removal of shoes and two attempts at pants
• witnesses: half of the student body and their parents and faculty and staff of the school likely including the principal
• reaction: I whipped those pants up so fast (twice) it made my head spin and Zach's too; complete embarrassment for me, total frustration for Zach as he had to suffer the discomfort of wet hems on his pants
• outcome: We made a beeline out of there as soon as I chased Sarah down and conducted to her the desperateness of the situation. I may never show my face at the elementary school again and will be looking into alternative placements for Zach
