We've got a busy couple of weeks coming up with lots of visitors, and we could not be more excited. Perhaps thrilled is a better word to convey the feelings we're experiencing to see good friends and family and to share our fun city with them. We'll be extremely busy today preparing for the first arrivals tomorrow. Here's what we'll be doing:
Zach's to do list
Zach's to do list- wake up as early as possible
- locate and chew on every cord in the house
- play with toys
- sleep
- wake up screaming as soon as mom puts her head down to take a nap
- ride around in the stroller
- flirt with any female I see
- wiggle around
- eat as often as I can convince mom that it is necessary
- sleep some more
- find more cords to chew on
- beg to be held and tickled
- learn to crawl
Sarah's to do list- make as many messes as possible (and leave them for mom to find in all kinds of imaginative places)
- change clothes at least a dozen times
- go to the park
- get a snack (preferably one with lots of sugar) every time mom turns her head
- watch as many shows as I can talk mom into
- climb on top of Zach as often as I can
- jump on mom and dad's freshly made bed
my to do list
- lose 20 pounds
- clean entire apartment
- redecorate apartment to look like it belongs in a Pottery Barn catalog on $0 budget
- cook and freeze a bunch of gourmet, well-balanced meals
- acquire completely new (and flattering, amazing, fashionable) wardrobe on $0 budget
- fold 5 loads of laundry (which I washed several days ago)
- wash all towels and sheets
- prepare spectacular mother's day gifts and cards for grandmas and send
- grocery shopping--buy milk at least
