Zach for the WIGGLY WORM award- He would like to thank his mother for persevering in diapering and clothing him each day although it takes herculean effort and requires enormous amounts of patience. He would also like to thank the couch for providing him with blankets and pillows under which to hide to avoid being dressed.
Zach for the EARLY BIRD award- He would like to thank his mother for getting up with him in the wee hours of the morning every single day. He would like to thank the folks at PBS and Word World for providing him with high quality television programs to watch while his mother lies comatose on the couch. He would also like to thank the folks at TiVo for allowing him to watch these quality television shows even when they are not currently on. He would like to thank the smart people who make Cheerios and Rice Krispies and Costco for their cheap milk because they all make it possible for him to have received this prestigious award.
Zach for the SILLY STICKER MONSTER award- He would like to thank his cousins for getting him this awesome Thomas sticker book, his aunt for the actual purchase of the sticker book, and his mother for the idea of the sticker book. He would also like to thank his mother, father, and sister for peeling the stickers out of the book and providing him with endless amounts of sticker delight. Finally, he would like to thank all of the available walls in the apartment for their blank slates upon which he will place his stickers.
Sarah for the BEST DRESSED award- She would like to thank her mother for providing her a closet full of adorable clothes as well as the daily arguments over what she should wear. She would also like to thank her mother for providing her with daily weather forecasts which aid in her clothing selection. She would like to thank her father for putting up with her mother's spending tendencies so as to provide her with clothing. She would also like to thank Kenny and Alina (members of our ward) for the lovely silk scarf that truly adds to her ensemble.
Zach for the BIGGEST MESS MAKER award- He would like to thank all those who have contributed to his vast collection of toys. He would also like to thank his mother for sending him into his room for quiet time each day and allowing him time to himself to make gigantic messes and also for cleaning them up. He would like to thank Thomas for being the best train ever. He would also like to thank the curtains for giving him a place to hide after his messes have been made.
Sarah for the LEAST LIKELY TO SLEEP IN HER OWN BED award- She would like to thank those who come and visit and commandeer her bed. She would also like to thank her mother for being too lazy and not kicking her out when she wakes up at odd hours with Sarah snuggled up next to her. She would also like to thank the couch for being so comfy.
Sarah for the CREATIVE COOK award
- She would like to thank her mother for the disgusting meals that she makes every night and for allowing Sarah to then make her own meal. She would also like to thank her mother for providing her with the choicest of ingredients in the fridge and the cupboards. She would like to thank her father for the idea of taking this very fetching photograph.
