Sarah is planning up a party. For her birthday. Over a month and a half away. She's got the invitations ready to pass out this very minute. To every single child in her class and several in the other classes in kindergarten. If I hadn't threatened her within an inch of her life that the invitations were not to leave the house to go to school with her, they would have been passed out the very minute she arrived at school. It took her a while, but I think she finally got all the important information on the invitation--address, phone number to rsvp to, date, time. They are decorated like crazy. The only problem is that she's got this event planned for on her very birthday. Which happens to be a Tuesday. A school day. At 9:30 am. When I pointed out to her that this might be just an eensy little problem and that her teacher (and the parents of those invited) will likely not appreciate it if all of her students are gone attending Sarah's party, she decided that 9:30 pm would work just as well. So I then took the opportunity to point out to her that 9:30 pm was a little late for a party on a school night. She insisted I plan a more appropriate date and time that very moment in order for her to complete the invitations for immediate dispersal. It looks like I'm not going to get out of planning her a party this year. But I am going to continue putting it off for a while.

haha. Cute. Bianca wanted to get Valentines Day cards for her classmates this past wknd. We knew we couldn't give in, because she would write on all of them and then lose them and we would end up having to buy her another box on Feb 13th.
