thoughts on thursday

• I think Thursday may be my favorite day of the week-The Office, 30 Rock, Community-and the only day I really watch any television.
• Zach has the funniest giggle ever. I'm looking into how I can bottle it up and sell it. This could be my way to make millions.
• I really love my Dustbuster. I used to think they were weird appliances mostly for old people, but I have since learned that they are the greatest appliance ever. If you doubt me, you should probably get one and see for yourself.
• I was feeling technology deprived for a while and even worried that perhaps all the other Vawdreys had passed us up in the technology race. The problem has been remedied with our new Mac. It works like a dream. And the screen is seriously bigger than our TV screen which isn't small either. I do still have to share it with the kids, however.
• It snowed for several hours this morning. I tried to cancel our RS meeting and avoid driving in the snow but had no luck. And I'm the one from Utah who knows about driving in the snow. It had completely melted by noon. I feel a bit sheepish about the whole thing.
• I am implementing a new rule in our household that Zach is not allowed to take a nap in the car at 9:20 am. We'll see how it goes.
• I want to buy felt-like yards and yards of it in all colors.
• I'm not really very crazy about January and frankly can hardly wait until it is over. I don't like the cold, the dreary skies, the slushy ground, the plain old winterness of it all month long.
