looking forward to...
- planting flowers
- putting each child in their own room and closing the door
- having Sarah's toys in her own room and not mine
- putting Zach's trains in his own room and not having to step over them all day long
- not having to go on the elevator and have the children fight over whose turn it is to push the button
- going from house to car to street in under five minutes instead of the fifteen or so it takes now
- an enormous closet
- sending the kids out into the backyard
- five minute trip to church instead of fifteen
- buying furniture
not looking forward to...
- making a monthly mortgage payment
- paying outrageous property taxes
- packing
- trying to walk the fine line between using things up but not too soon so that I have to buy more but instead running out just in time
- not having a doorman
- having to drive Sarah to school

Congrats?
Are you moving? Such a change of life, it is true. More space = more work. But, it can also mean lots of simplification. Good luck with that!
Where are you moving?
Does this mean the house has been purchased? There's a lot to look forward to, it's true, but like Emily said, more work. There's always a project with a house. Sometimes I think I might like renting again... Congrats though! I'm excited for you guys. Where is it?
I'm super excited to see the new place. Congratulations. I bet it will be super de duper a la Peter T. Hooper.
