My goal as of late is to spend less money. I have a certain amount in mind that I try not to spend in excess of each week. It has been easier than I thought. It also helps to not go to the store-at all. In general I think that I am usually pretty conservative, but I wonder if I really am. No one better bring up any shoe comments in response to this thought. And I do mean no one!
- Getting bargains is kind of like a game sometimes. I like to get good deals. I try not to buy things unless they are on sale. I like rebates and promotions and such, but I'm getting a little tired of trying to keep track of it all. I have six cards on my keys for different stores. Then there are promotions to keep track of online. Sometimes I think it would be nice if stores could just drop all the junk and their prices as well.
- We are the current ward service project. Last week the Young Women came and helped me finish up a project that I had been working on for a while. Now they want to come and help us pack. We'll likely be scheduling a packing extravaganza with girls to pack and girls to watch the kids. The Elders Quorum also has our move scheduled.
- It seems that spring has come and gone, and summer is here to stay. It is consistently above 70 degrees and very hot and humid. I miss spring already. I wish we could have a few more weeks of pleasant spring before the heat really sets in. Also, is it silly that we generally have the air conditioning on in order to snuggle up under a blanket? In our defense, the humidity is mostly what we are fighting against. It seems so muggy without the air conditioning on.

Gotta keep the AC on to drop the humidity. I remember that from Texas. Totally empathize with you there.
I sometimes find it interesting that you have inherited the Vawdrey gene for "deals", while my brothers and I didn't seem to get such a strong dose of it. Which is too bad, because it can be pretty handy.
Where are you moving?
