all day, every day

We've reached the climbing stage. I had forgotten how much I dislike this stage with the constant climbing, climbing, climbing all over everywhere. At first it's kind of cute, this new skill that they have mastered, but it loses its cuteness very quickly. Baby climbs up. Baby teeters precariously. Pick them up. Child is screaming and wriggling out of your arms. Set them down on the floor. Child climbs up again. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. All day long. Once he mastered these chairs, he climbed onto the table and then the nearby changing table. He can nearly climb up on the windowsill. The chairs have been removed. He also loves climbing onto the stool in the bathroom and throwing things in the sink. The bathroom door is now closed.
