All of a sudden, I can't get enough chrysanthemums. I have never really liked them in the past (always considered them a funeral, Memorial Day thing), but now I am loving them. They are everywhere here and are simply stunning. This may be a sign that I am getting old.- Must keep reminding Sarah--frequently--to flush the toilet and close the bathroom door. The episode from the other day with Zach playing in a yucky potty toilet can NOT happen again.
- My watch broke. I've had it for nearly nine years. I'm surprised that rather than wanting a new one, I just really want this one fixed.
- I'm running out of places to hide things or put them out of reach of both Sarah and Zach. These two are seriously like monkeys. Sarah is a lot like me as a child in her ability to sniff out treats and find things she is not supposed to find.
- I am getting a kick lately out of planning things to do when visitors come. I'm trying to come up with new things that we haven't done before. Up on the docket for the next month or so with our upcoming visitors: Wicked on Broadway, the New York Botanical Gardens, Boo at the Bronx Zoo, Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Central Park Pumpkin Festival, Carnegie Kids, NY Giants game?, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and other good stuff. I'm so excited. We need more visitors.
- It is time for new running shoes.
- I don't think I'm ever going to recover from the computer crash we had this last summer.
