a boy and his binkie part 3
A near crisis was averted when Zach discovered the secret binkie stash. I stuffed those bad boys in my pocket so fast and pretended like he was seeing things. I'm pretty sure he's traumatized by this whole experience. He saw a picture of himself with a binkie in his mouth and started shouting out, "binty, binty!" It was heart wrenching. And seriously adorable. And I was heartless and ignored him. And the look on his face when I gave him his binkie and blanket for his nap. Priceless. I'll try to take a photo of it tomorrow. Or perhaps we'll stage it later today. Pull out the binkie and blanket. Snap the shot of adorable-ness. Put the binkie and blanket away. Hysterics ensue. Take another snapshot. No, that would be too cruel. If you're gagging at this point regarding the binkie updates, rest assured they won't last forever.

We are loving this.
You may be surprised how long they last. We're tentatively going through this with Katie right now. She is so freaking loud that I don't think we will ever succeed at ignoring her.
Ugh. I just bought Wyatt two more pacifiers today. He turned two about 2 weeks ago. Eric has been asking me about it too but I am not as brave as you. We have yet to just limit it to nap time. And sleep. One step at a time right. But congrats to you and your bravery and all that. (: Hope the next few days go well.
