when it rains, it pours

Our fridge has decided not to work. The freezer is fine, but the fridge is no longer. I'm hoping the landlord just tells us to go buy another one. Life can be a bit tricky when you have no refrigeration. Lukewarm milk is not very refreshing. The Xbox is not being very friendly. It has decided to no longer play dvds. Since the server computer crashed a few months ago, the Xbox no longer plays movies that were saved onto it. Life can be rough when your movie selections are limited to what you have saved on the TiVo. I'm pretty sure I might scream if I have to watch The Wild one more time. My computer hates me. It decided to delete everything on my account while leaving all other accounts intact. And any time I access any programs on my account I have to verify that I am a user or some ridiculous thing. Since we've been together something like seven or eight years (that's a lot of files and pictures and data), I thought we had build a pretty good relationship. I'll be perfectly honest. I curled up in the fetal position and nearly cried. Fortunately, the information is all still there but must be accessed in a roundabout fashion. My printer is also rebelling against me. It will print for others but not for me. And when it does print, the colors aren't quite right. I'll be taking donations for the Rebuild Alicia's Technology Fund.

Maybe you should get a mac. Or get a job at night and then use the money to buy a mac. Or let us have a garage sale with some of your stuff downstairs and then let us use the money to buy you a mac and send it to you.
