sarah and the no good, very bad day

  • woke up late
  • didn't want to go to school
  • didn't feel great
  • mean, old parents made her go to school
  • had to sit out during gym time because shoes didn't have laces
  • got bonked in the nose by someone's head during recess
  • bloody nose
  • had to go to the nurse's office
  • lost her jacket
  • mom wouldn't let her play on the playground after school
  • could only have one cup of hot chocolate after school
  • had to watch thomas with her little brother
  • couldn't get the computer to do the game she wanted to play
  • went into room to be by self
  • bed all unmade because sheets and blankets were being washed
  • climbed onto brother's bed instead
  • fell asleep at 5:30
  • so glad this day is over

Wow. That really does sound on the scale of Alexander's. Maybe she'll want to move to Australia.

On a brighter note, she is amazing that she could recount that all back to you with precision.

How blessed it is to be able to sleep away our woes, if only for a few hours. She looks totally at peace.

I think you should have added 'Mother taking pictures of me while I'm sleeping' to Sarah's list.

poor little Sarah, I guess it's good she learns early, everyone has bad days. (:
