the cow, the angel, and the sheep

This little sheep (a last minute addition) spent most of his time doing this.
Or doing this. Notice the bandaid on his head. He had a little run-in with a window at the church during the party-a lovely little non-tempered glass wonder like the ones pictured behind him. He came away from the encounter with a minor scratch, but you should see the window. It's going to need to be replaced.
Then he discovered the manger over to his side and couldn't possibly hold still any longer. He had to get over there and find out what was inside.
When he found out it was just a baby doll, he quickly lost interest and went on his way. Now if the manger had contained a train, it might have been a different story. Have I mentioned that the characters in our nativity at home are nowhere to be found and have been replaced with trains?
Did you see the angel? Yes, all her wildest dreams came true, and she got to be an angel. Something about extra white sheets. And did you see the cows? They are adorable.

When Sarah kept reminding me that as the bishop's daughter she should be the angel two things came to mind. The first thought was that if she acted a little more like an angel she might get to be an angel. The second thought was that there should at least be a perk or two to being the bishop's family, and this might as well be one of them.
