Since I was tired of wrapping things, I decided to put all of our Christmas Eve gifts into our stockings. Then we could take them out of our stockings before putting our stockings up. Sarah, of course, always loves a stocking and could hardly wait to dig in. She took care of her own, mine, and her dad's. She also assisted Zach. She's helpful like that.

Christmas jammies are a must. I bought these ones last January and have been waiting all year to get them out. I love them. Surprisingly enough, Sarah loved hers, too. I had been worried about her hating them. She pulled them out and was thrilled about how soft and fuzzy they were. Both kids also got fuzzy bear slippers. It was also time to open a Christmas book. The kids were mesmerized by the pop-up pictures in this one.

And then decided that the pop-up section at the back would be perfect for a train track. Of course!

Sarah got a sparkly pink and white lollipop ornament because she loves all things pink, sparkly, and full of sugar. Zach got a bit of a surprise when he took a lick.

Zach got a Thomas the Tank Engine Christmas train that I fashioned into an ornament. I don't think it has made it to the tree yet.
