Sarah had a friend over yesterday for a tea party. I picked up the tea cups and dishes at the dollar store a few weeks ago. (They're kind of ugly but growing on me a little bit. You take what you can get at the dollar stores around here.) We took an early morning walk to buy the tulips, and Sarah helped me set the table. She was so excited. She wore her princess dress, of course. It simply wouldn't have been a proper tea party without it. On the menu were pound cake, blackberries, vanilla creme cookies, cool whip, and tea (hot chocolate). It turned out to be a pleasant tea for two.

Lexa cannot stop talking about the "tea party" with hot chocolate and real milk to cool it. She was so impressed!
