a few of my favorite things

So I, who usually never win anything, won two things in one week, and it was awesome! I'm now anxiously awaiting their deliveries. Now I have to continue on and pick some winners of my own. Here's how it works:
  • I share some of my favorite things.
  • You comment on which things you would like to win.
  • I randomly draw winning names.
  • I give the winner their choice from my list of favorites.
  • The winner then gets to do a favorites game on their blog.
Since I won two different times, I also have to "pay it forward" for the other one. I'll go off of the same comments, but for the three winners of the randomly drawn "pay it forward" drawing, I'll send you something special rather than what you wish for of my favorites. Then you also have to "pay it forward" on your own blog. Them's the rules, folks! I'll give until Sunday at midnight and then work on sending things out next week.
Crockpots are a glorious, time-saving device until you have to clean them. It seems at times that all the time you save on the food preparation is then put into scrubbing the thing. This, my friends, is why I love the slow cooker liners from our friends at Reynolds. Genius! You line your crockpot with them, plop in the food, and cook away. After you eat the delicious meal, you simply lift the liner out and throw it away. It is also oh, so useful for lifting the drippings out, holding over your pan, cutting the liner, and pouring it (mess-free) to make gravy. Usually you still have to give the crockpot a light rinse, but there is no scrubbing required. You can now have your Sunday afternoons back.
I love the Children's Songbook on cd. If you don't have them, you should. I like to play them while Sarah is playing, doing art, eating, whenever. It really seems to set the tone in our house. It is also helpful in teaching her the primary songs so she is more familiar with them. It is adorable to listen as she sometimes sings along. I love, love, love children's books. All of them. I have quite the collection and am continually buying more. I haven't yet picked my favorite one, but I will, and it could be yours. Yum. These fudge brownies from Entenmann's Little Bites are divine. It's like a little piece of brownie heaven. I'm a brownie lover, but making a batch of brownies around here can be deadly. I'll likely eat them all myself. Lucky for me, these brownie bites fit the bill and almost fill my cravings for brownies.
I'm not generally much of a mint girl, but these ones are yummy. I'm more than happy to pop one in my mouth to freshen my breath a bit. Sometimes I eat them more like candy. Kids like them too, which is good news for me when Sarah is a bit grumpy or hungry or bored or upset or tired or any number of other things which she may be and usually is.
These Propel packets may be the greatest thing since sliced bread. Sometimes boring old water just doesn't fit the bill, so I fill my water bottle with one of these. Ah, heaven! Sarah says they taste like suckers in her water. Tasty like candy and easily portable. I can't think of a better combination.
I also really like kid pajamas of the variety shown above--the t-shirt and shorts ensembles. There's nothing cuter than kids wearing pajamas like these. You can get them lots of places, but some of my favorites are the Carter's, Child of Mine, Osh Kosh, and Old Navy brands. I always buy mine a size larger than what they are wearing, and they usually fit just perfectly.

Oh, good job on getting it up so fast! I think it took me more than a month to get my contest up after I won, and I didn't even have a move to blame it on.

I'll go for the brownie bites. I'm a sucker for chocolate.

Oooh, how fun. I love winning things.
My vote is for the cute pj's OR any of the fun things.

Can my vote be for the propel. I think we still have some crock pot liners that you left - I ALWAYS forget to use them.

I love those kid PJs. I got some for Katie this year, and they are the best! Wish I'd found them sooner. Plus, I really need to try the crock pot liners. The closest I've gotten is spraying it with PAM first, which works reasonably well, but I'm always all for one less thing to clean upl

Wow, life has really passed me by with this contest stuff. I am willing to try the crock pot liners. Maybe I will use it more.
