sarah's grocery list

Sarah has decided to help out a little more at home these days. Her first order of business is assisting with the grocery shopping (just in case she doesn't already help enough while we're at the actual grocery store and she is calling out things that she sees and needs as she sees them and generally driving me absolutely nuts). She has made me a fine list of things to pick up next time I'm over at the A & P. I haven't actually been there yet, but I might try to scope the place out sometime soon. While I was busy with Zach this afternoon, she perused their advertisement and circled all the things (Grandpa Vawdrey style) that she thinks we need. Notice how well loved the pages are. Her quite comprehensive list is as follows:
  • grapes
  • corn on the cob
  • Corn Pops and Apple Jacks
  • tuna fish
  • Poptarts
  • orange juice
  • on-the-go salad dressing
  • baked beans
  • croutons
  • ice cream cones
  • Chex cereal
  • Total Cinnamon Crunch cereal
  • Special K bars
  • Little Bites
  • Yogos Rollers
  • princess fruit snacks
  • cilantro
  • eggplant
As it turns out, some of these items will likely not be making the cut to the actual grocery list. I imagine she will be somewhat disappointed when we leave the grocery store without three dozen boxes of cereal and minus a few other assorted snack products.

Tuna fish and eggplant! Sounds like she is a good eater to me!

Love it! I swear she's too young to be worried about checking the newspaper... You're right - you have raised a little genius child! And below, I love your favorite things post. So great. I totally agree about Crock-pots. I have often wondered about the time-saving part of it - or lack thereof due to scrubbing. I can't believe I haven't thought to use the liners. Great idea! And I'm so glad you're doing my pay-it-forward. You're a champ. You make me happy! :)

(PS - I left a comment on your 'great view' pics... It's so far down I'm sure you won't see it. For that matter, I should have just left the comment here, huh?)
