I have high hopes of someday having a beautiful, big Christmas tree with beautiful decorations that all coordinate. It probably won't ever happen, but a girl can sure hope. When we moved across the country, I neglected to bring many holiday decorations which in hindsight wasn't the smartest thing I've ever done. What I have will fit in one small (very small) box. That leaves us with this little Christmas tree that I picked up at the craft store for not much at all. But, hey, it's pre-lit! That ought to count for something. Of course, Sarah and her dad also picked up some multi-colored lights at the Home Depot to give it a little extra oomph. Sarah was itching to get it put up today. She started putting ornaments on it before I even got it set up. By ornaments I mean our lovely little craft concoctions that we've been cooking up all week and will continue to make as long as we've got time, energy, craft supplies, and a Sarah to keep busy. It may end up being the craziest looking Christmas tree you ever saw, but I assure you it is well loved--all four feet of it.
