While in the city yesterday, we wandered around Ft. Tryon Park for a few minutes. I must say that even though the area in which we live is crowded with people and traffic and a major metropolitan area in the United States, it is beautiful. I might even say breathtaking. In the fall especially. I love the trees that are everywhere. I love to walk around or drive around and be surrounded by trees of all colors with the leaves falling gently to the ground. I like to crunch the leaves as I walk through them. They are absolutely filling the streets these days. I love the vegetation that grows everywhere. The weeds are even beautiful with their colors and their bounty. There's just something about fall in this area that I can't get enough of.
