Since my kids love all things bus, subway, or train, we decided to take Grandma, Grandpa, and Daddy to the New York Transit Museum. We've been several times but never with back-up. After this trip, I think the kids are prepared to get jobs working for the MTA. Take tickets? You bet. Drive the train? I'm sure the Zachster is up to the challenge. Sarah will be happy to drive any and all buses. Help people push the turnstiles? Please? Can they? It will be like a dream come true. Hang from the straps in the subway? Oh, wait, the MTA employees probably don't do that. Check the engines to make sure that all systems are a go? I can't guarantee that they'll be right, but I'm certain they'll be willing to take charge in that department. Trust me, we had to drag the little darlings out at closing time.
