joining the ranks

I have long been dreading the chauffeur mom days. I know that once they start they won't stop for years. And I'm not excited about spending my days driving my kids around to their various activities and coordinating their busy extracurricular schedules. But I decided it was time to just get over it and join the ranks. So... introducing...

• Sarah the pianist (although she wishes she were a violinist)
• Sarah the soccer superstar
• Sarah the artiste
• Zach the artist-in-residence
• Zach the storytime bookworm

Fortunately, we can walk to three of the five engagements, so technically I only have to chauffeur to two activities. Not only am I joining the ranks, we're now a little out-of-control with our extracurriculars. From 0 to 5 in two weeks. I guess that's the way we roll.
