exploring our new area

We've been doing a little exploring here in our new area. There's a lovely little zoo we visited last week. We've also been enjoying the parks nearby. We've checked out some of the Revolutionary War battle sights right near our building. Of course, we had to check out the view of the George Washington Bridge and the Little Red Lighthouse from the New Jersey side. Mostly, though, we've been lazing out and doing some shopping to get stocked up again. Now I need to get up the guts to get in the car and venture back into the city as well as further out into our new area. At this point, driving a car is much more intimidating to me than jumping on the subway.
