I'm a total sucker for the $1 carousel ride. Just one dollar to bring joy to the hearts of my children? You bet. There seem to be a lot of them around here, too. Sarah has been on several from Central Park to the Bronx Zoo to Prospect Park in Brooklyn to the Mall in Washington DC. This was Zach's first go on the carousel. He held on tight (and was also strapped in, with me standing right by his side).
He looked at all the bright, shiny lights above him.
He really liked the glittery jewels on the side of the horse and kept reaching down to get them. Don't worry, I totally had him covered.
He noticed the horse to his right.
He discovered there were also horses in front of him.
I think he liked it. This was one dollar well spent. We'll certainly be back for more. Probably tomorrow. And maybe the day after that.
