As the weeks are flying by, we are to letter H for this week. Here are the things that we will be doing:
- making handprint pictures--either with paint or cutting handprints out--and compiling them into a calendar (which we were actually going to do during C week but didn't get done)
- brainstorming holiday words
- going to visit daddy at the hospital (where he works)
- eating hot dogs and hamburgers
- wearing hats
- going on an h letter hunt around town
- horses--maybe going to see some, talking about them, looking at books about horses
- eating peanut butter and honey sandwiches
- making honey butter to eat with cornbread
- walking down by the Hudson River
- doing a fancy hairdo
- eating Hawaiian haystacks
- building a hut or hideout
- eating hash browns for breakfast
- reading Hansel & Gretel
- visiting the Museum of Natural History
- talking about hundreds--also gluing 100 items (probably hearts) to a paper
- making hearts for valentines
- talking about heroes
- singing "If You're Happy and You Know It"
Other possibilities that we won't be doing this time around:
- staying in a hotel
- driving down the highway
- getting helium-filled balloons
