• "Are you grumpy yet, mom?" Apparently, I am grumpy way too much of the time. I suppose I should work on that.
• "I think that was an earthquake." She said this in the subway station while we were waiting for the C train and the A train rumbled by either above or below us.
• "This looks like the train that goes to Queens." I'm not sure how she even knows about Queens, but she was right. The kid is too smart for me.
• "Why do birds have white poop?" as well as "Where do boogers come from? I think from corn skins." She's been wondering about a lot of things lately. Unfortunately, these two I simply did not have answers for.
• "Mom, I think I lost my shadow." Fortunately, I was able to find it for her as she was becoming very upset that it was MIA.
