So there was a time in my life when I used to make fun of people (primarily Grandpa Vawdrey) who shopped at places like Rite Aid or Walgreens. I mean, who goes there!?! As it turns it, I do. Here in the city there are about a bajillion pharmacies--we're talking like one on every corner with at least one between the corners. There are easily half a dozen or more that I could walk to from my apartment in about five minutes. Oddly enough, when I needed a prescription filled for pain medication late at night after I broke my arm, David and Norm could not find a single pharmacy open near us. My favorite is when there are two pharmacies from the same company directly across the street from one another. This happens more often than you would think. We've got Rite Aid, Duane Reade, VIM, and CVS as well as a number of mom & pop establishments. Anyway, I have come to the conclusion that I like Rite Aid. I go there more frequently than I would like to admit. They have a good selection and some pretty good sales on things that grocery stores around here don't seem to put on sale or don't carry at all. I can check the weekly ad online which is awesome. Since I can't just run to stores like Target, Walmart, or Shopko, I guess Rite Aid will just have to fill my basic supplies needs when I'm in a pinch.

I noticed several pharmacies in Hawaii as well when we were there. If you guys get to go hang out in New York for a while, how much opposition do you think there would be if we moved to Hawaii for a year or so after I finish school?
I know I would come to visit you, and I'm guessing you'll get a number of other visitors as well. There will likely still be some opposition from your parents, however, even though they like Hawaii.
