easter antics

There's nothing better than Easter. Sarah had fun hunting up a storm and has since subjected me to only one hunt. The kid is fascinated with holidays and tends to want to continue celebrating them long after they pass. I remember last year we did what felt like 100 egg hunts. First she would hide the eggs, and I would hunt. Then I would hide the eggs, and she would hunt. It was a little over the top. This year she has fortunately come to understand that the spoils of the hunt are as much if not more fun than the hunt itself.
She was quite taken with this princess umbrella that I got for her. I have been looking for one for ages and then found two in one day.
Here she is in all her Easter glory. I think this may be the cutest dress ever made, and the shoes are stinkin' cute--pink patent leather. Lucky for me they were on sale!
We also enjoyed an Easter egg hunt at the public park near our building.
Here she is on the hunt at home. Check out the Easter basket we made courtesy of Aunt Breann.
Even Zach got in on the action. He wanted some of that yummy candy, but Sarah stopped him in his tracks and wrestled her Easter basket out of his hungry little hands.
With the magnifying glass and binoculars she got,
don't you worry, Sarah found every last Easter egg and piece of candy in the place.

Sarah's dress IS adorable - I love little eyelets on fabric. It's so springy to me. You are the cutest!
