p is for plenty of presents

Just in case there was any doubt, it's official--the kid is spoiled rotten! Seriously! Check out the loot! It looks more like it should be a Christmas spread than a birthday spread. This doesn't include some other gifts that she opened previously from other friends and family. As Laura would say, it's a present palooza!
These are her pink and purple polka dot papered presents from us. (It is p week, you know.) I say us, but mostly her father did the purchasing of the presents this year. He kept buying and buying and buying. I got her a few things also, but when I realized the absolutely ridiculous number of presents there were going to be, I put them back in the closet for another time.
He picked out this piano that plugs into the tv for playing games as well as supposedly learning to play the piano. She thinks it is fantastic!
Aunt Colleen sent this princess card that plays music when you open it. Sarah kept opening and closing it over and over and over. She thinks it is a book and wants to open it and read it several times a day. She also kept wanting to show it to Zach (whom I'm sure really doesn't care for princess cards that play music) despite my explanations that he would drool on it or try to put it in his mouth. I found it next to him several times throughout the day. I'm wondering how much longer the card will hold out with the amount of loving that it is receiving.
She opened this Barbie Mariposa from Grandma and Grandpa Schmidt and exclaimed, "This is just what I wanted from the commercial." She has also watched the Barbie Mariposa movie they sent several times already. The doll is currently with her in bed.
Here she is opening a dancing doll from Grandma & Grandpa Vawdrey. She has been dancing up a storm with the doll and the ballerina shoes her dad picked out for her. Apparently, the princess phase will be continuing on at our place for some time to come!

Alan does the same thing when our kids are having birthdays. He just keeps on shopping and shopping... Birthdays are fun!

We were going to try to call you on Sunday, but between church, work, and a party for my brother, it didn't happen. Tell Sarah to watch the mailbox in a couple of weeks for her little slice of Disney fun.
