letter of the week

I have been looking forward to p week for a long time as there are plenty of possibilities of things to do. I even planned and schemed a little for it to coincide with Sarah's birthday. We're going to be going crazy with p things. Here's what we will be doing this week:
  • opening presents
  • going to primary
  • planting some seeds
  • wearing polka dots and decorating with pink and purple polka dots
  • eating pudding
  • playing in pudding--making letters, shapes, etc. on a cookie sheet
  • eating pomegranates, peaches, pears, plums, and pineapple
  • pigtails & ponytails
  • eating pancakes--regular and German
  • drinking punch
  • puddle art
  • picnics in the park
  • pinwheel sandwiches
  • pinwheel cookies
  • eating pringles
  • visiting the planetarium (Rose Center for Earth and Space at the American Museum of Natural History) and talking about planets
  • getting a pretzel from the pretzel vendors all over the city
  • playing with paper dolls
  • playdough
  • making a placemat
  • having pajama day where we wear our pajamas all day (or most of the day, anyway)
  • patterns
  • pairs
  • pop pegs to make bracelets and necklaces
  • puppets and puppet shows--maybe going to Puppetworks in Brooklyn if we have time
  • making chocolate covered pretzels (with sprinkles)
  • going to the post office
  • decorating postcards
  • making a paper bag picnic basket
  • painting
  • eating pizza and Papaya dogs
  • potato prints
  • popcorn
  • doing puzzles and making our own puzzles
  • popsicle stick creations
  • eating popsicles
  • making pie?
  • taking pictures
  • making a pot of gold (in preparation for St. Patrick's Day)
  • eating pasta
  • making pinwheels for all the wind we've been having
  • paper plate or paper bag creations
  • post-it notes posted all over the house with messages each day
  • wearing pink and purple
  • princess stuff--wearing princess dresses, reading princess stories, watching princess movies, playing with princess dolls (I'm sure you're wondering how this particular one is different than any other week
  • princess party--complete with princess crowns, princess wands, princess cookies, princess dresses, presents, and of course, a princess pinata
I'm thinking p week might just end up spilling over into q week by a few days. Seriously, like q week was going to be that busy, anyway. That way we can even take advantage of St. Patrick's Day! Yeah!
