
We've got lots of r things going on this week for R week, but we'll certainly be slowing down a bit from our crazy P week and gearing up for S and T weeks which will be coming up shortly. We're doing Q week next week. Here's what we've got on the docket:
- crayon rubbings
- rice krispie treats in the shape of rabbits
- playing with rice on cookie sheets making shapes, letters, and numbers as well as playing with rice with cups, spoons, funnels, and bowls
- rabbits--yeah for Easter--we'll be having the Easter Rabbit this year--and I found some marshmallows in the shape of rabbits
- making pictures with rectangles
- rhyming
- making a rainbow--handprints, colored squares, fingerpainting, buttons
- hunting for red things
- rain--conveniently it is raining today--rain drops, raincoat, rain boots
- decorating rocks
- reading
- making some recipes
- going round and round on the carousel (at the zoo)
- maybe a round party
- eating things that are red and/or round
- going to a restaurant
- walking down by the river
- Riverside Park
- eating rigatoni
- making rolls--dinner rolls and cinnamon rolls
- eating rice
- talking about rain forests
- robots
- taking a ride on the bus, the subway, and anything else we can find to ride
- making a reward chart
- looking for rats in the subway
