I really like to stroll around my neighborhood. I find it endlessly entertaining to watch the people and soak in the whole feel of the place. I took the above pictures while I strolled around with Zach this morning while Sarah was at school. I find exploring the neighborhood without Sarah much more pleasant as she quickly gets tired and wonders how many more stops or blocks until we get home. Fortunately, Zach does not yet voice opinions and happily cruises along in the stroller. For any of you out there who served missions in foreign countries or who have visited other countries, it may appear that my neighborhood looks surprisingly like the third-world countries you experienced. Some places around here seem a bit "ghetto," but that simply adds to the adventure of wandering around. I really like to go to the random stores around and see if they have any good items amid the trashy things. This place is like a glorified sidewalk sale every day on every corner. This morning I especially enjoyed the farmer's market where I picked up some cheap fruit. I may have been the only white girl there.

Really! That is an adventure. Looking at the pictures does remind me of a swap meet. Minus the fruit of course(:
