hotel vawdrey...

is open and accepting reservations for the winter and spring seasons. While the accommodations may not be stellar, there is a great view (from my room, not yours), and it's cheaper than the $300 per night and up charged by some of the hotels downtown. We've had guests four times so far in the 2 1/2 months we've been here, and I feel like I'm just now getting the hang of having people here and knowing what to have them do. My apologies to those who visited before I knew what I was doing. Although I'm no expert, I'm figuring out where things are and what is fun to do with and without kids. We're discovering what restaurants are good in our neighborhood in order to be able to make recommendations. We're also coming up with some trademark recipes of great breakfast and dinner menus that we serve to guests. (Lunches are usually sandwiches or other kid friendly items.) We have a great staff consisting of the following:

Manager: Alicia
Receptionist: Alicia
Concierge: Alicia
Chef: Alicia
Maid: Alicia
Bellboy: Alicia
Tour Guide: Alicia
Entertainment: Sarah & Baby Zach
Room Service: don't ask; we don't have it!
All Other Positions: Alicia & sometimes David

Make your reservations now!

The Sisters Virtue would like to make a reservation--whenever you have an opening. We're not picky. Our only request is that the NYC Hostess with the Mostess and her husband take a night to themselves while we hang out with Sarah & Baby Zach.
