As far as I can tell, it is both the season and the latest fashion to be wearing pointy toe (witch) shoes. They come in a variety of styles-heels, boots, flats, open heel, etc.-but the pointier the better. Even some of the men here in New York have the pointy shoes. I'm not sure that I'll be able to pull them off, but given my new efforts to spice up my style, I might just get myself some if I find the right pair!
