We went to see the balloons for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this evening. It was a lot of fun. Despite her expressions in the above pictures, Sarah really did enjoy it. We saw Dora, Snoopy, Ronald McDonald (David told Sarah he was a mean clown who poisons children), Hello Kitty, Shrek, and loads of others. Of course, the battery on the camera died (my fault for not charging it), so these were the best pictures we got. The weather was great. The balloons were big. The crowds were huge. I can only imagine how many people will be there tomorrow for the actual parade. I want to go to the parade but don't think it is such a great idea with a toddler and an infant. You have to be there at like 6:00 am in order to get a good spot. The parade starts at 9:00, and it can last for hours. It's cold, and it's crowded! Maybe next year...
