- "Mom, your hair looks ridiculous!"
Parenting 101 says that you shouldn't say something to your children that you wouldn't want them to say to you. Recently, she has not been wanting me to do her hair and just wants to let it be down-like a princess, she says. The only trouble with this is that it gets all stringy and yucky and in her eyes. It drives me crazy! She also gets food in it, and I have told her that it looks ridiculous. Whoops! - "Mom, I'm playing by myself. Come play with me!"
- "Mom can't go to work. She has to watch the kids."
- Sarah: "Mom, come here." Me: "I'm coming." Sarah: "It doesn't look like it." Also probably something I have said to her a time or two or three or four!
- "I'm filled up to the gills. I have to poop before I can fit more in my tummy."
- "I think this might be Brooklyn." She said this four subway stops from our apartment which is like 20 or more subway stops from Brooklyn.

LOL at the filled up to the gills comment...sounds like something my kids would come up with. Rachel's rather obsessed with bodily functions lately.
Hi Alicia. Your daughter sounds fun! I can't wait till Joseph starts talking and surprising us with how much he listens to what we say. :) For now he just tries our patience by stretching his vocal chords. :) It's his new favorite trick...screaming. Just cause he can. :) How's the new edition? Miss ya.
