So, daylight savings is upon us with that blessed extra hour. Well, I forgot and got up early as usual for a Sunday. I started getting myself ready and woke up David and Sarah at the usual time. Just when Sarah was good and awake, David reminded me about the time change. Tried to go back to sleep but then the baby woke up. Bummer! Could have really used that extra hour of sleep! Plus, everyone here got a nap today but me. So not fair!
What did you do with your extra hour?

It could be worse. You could live in Arizona where there is no daylight savings. I swear it is so confusing being the only state that doesn't reset their clocks (unconfirmed fact, although I hear Indiana finally picked a time zone). I never know if I'm on the same time as California or as Utah. The worst part is the TV shows. The shows on the major networks keep the same time, but the shows on cable are now on an hour earlier.
This had to be the day that would not end -- fast sunday grumpy I'm hungry and no church till 1:00, kids up at 6:30 a.m. and not going to bed till 8:30 p.m. when parents patience was shot. Glad to hear someone else experienced the same joy!
