I think the selling factor for him was that it can sleep three people (with the trundle option), or possibly four if they are small, and that it takes up relatively little room while doing this. The selling factor for me is that it is beautiful-if a bunkbed can, in fact, be beautiful.

my wishlist
I want this. David says I can get it if I get a job. I'm considering it. Make sure you get the high ceiling and the big room to go with the beautiful bunk bed!
And the designer linen... The only thing that's missing is the slide from the top down. Our kids were pretty bummed that we vetoed all the bunkbeds like that.
Oh, I agree...I was going to say that you can only get the bed if you get the bedding to go with it....I love it. You can always fly home to work here again and then fly back on the weekends....oh wait, you still wouldn't have enough money for that bed ; )
