
These are our B activities for the week. (Here's to hoping we get some of them done.) Again, let me know if you can think of any additional ideas.
- beads-make a bracelet; make a necklace; make patterns; counting, sorting, addition, subtraction
- blocks-building things; making words with letter blocks; counting, addition, subtraction
- berries-buy berries at the store; berry smoothies; berry pancakes or muffins
- books-read, read, read books; borrow books from the library; make a book
- black, brown, blue-make books or pages for a color book with items that are these colors; search around the house/outside for items that are these colors
- breakfast-eat breakfast for every meal one day with LOTS AND LOTS OF BACON!
- body-draw a picture of it, talk about our bodies, identify body parts
- B handwriting pages
- bees, bugs, butterflies-make them with egg cartons or coffee filters; draw them, paint them; look for them outside
- B hunt around the house-look for items that begin with the letter B
- bridge-a walk on the George Washington Bridge
- building-maybe visit the Empire State Building
- boats-look for boats on the Hudson River while walking on the GWB; ride the Staten Island Ferry; make an apple boat
- bubbles-bubble art; blow bubbles
- birthday things-have a pretend birthday party or real one if there is an actual birthday during the week (we have David's birthday next week); birthday cake, candles, balloons, presents, cards, etc.
- balloons-counting, sorting, addition, subtraction; use for art?
- bags (paper)-paper bag puppets and a puppet show; paper bag pilgrim/Indian outfit and a Thanksgiving dinner; make a bag
- brownies, bread, bananas, banana bread
- bus-take a ride on one, count how many we see around town
Other ideas we won't likely be doing:
- going to the beach
- playing with balls
- activities about babies/brothers
- making bows
- bath tub activities

Those are fun ideas! Now hurry up and get to T, because that's what I have to do this week with Rachel's preschool ; ).
I am disappointed and a little ticked off. There is not one mention of any activities using Bacon. Talk about raising a misguided child. This is why people shouldn't homeschool - you miss the important parts.

Better yes, but you are still short-siding counting bacon, cooking bacon, learning why certain peoples refuse to eat bacon, where does bacon come from, and eating a baconator from Wendy's.
This is probably why we don't have any kids.
I like this idea, we're going to start a similar program; not till 2008. But come January 1st it's game time.
