We have arrived amidst the famous snow of Utah. We flew in with the storm last night. It's freezing. Our apartment in Manhattan is always super warm, sometimes even hot, and we have no control over the temperature. It's nice to wear short sleeves and capris to bed with no blankets. Last night I slept with two huge blankets, and poor Grandpa keeps turning the heat up every time he sees me shiver. Our flight was long especially with the delay at JFK and waiting to get off the plane in SLC. Plus we had long lines to wait in at JFK and waited forever to get our luggage here in Salt Lake. The best part of the whole trip was that the kids were wonderful. In fact, one woman told us at the end of the flight that our children (Sarah, even) were the most well-behaved children she has seen in a long time. I must admit I was super anxious on the drive home from the airport in the snow. Yikes! I even closed my eyes one time. I'm starting to like the subway even more and more, because there is no need to worry about sliding off of the tracks--only strange, unexplainable screeching noises at times.

I can't believe Grandpa turns up the heat for you -- you really are the favorite! Glad you are all here safe and sound -- see you tomorrow!
