This has certainly been the year of the princess for us. After all the princess stuff Sarah got for Christmas, I'm hoping she'll be all princess-ed out. Somehow, even though I didn't purchase anything for the kid until Christmas Even, she still managed to be spoiled rotten. She ended up with a princess castle, a fleet of princess dolls including three Auroras (for those of you not up on your princess trivia, that is Sleeping Beauty), more princess dresses and princess shoes, a princess scooter, princess pajamas, princess stickers for the walls in her room, princess magnets, a princess blanket, a princess Christmas ornament, and probably other princess loot that I can't even remember. The kid seriously made a haul--and now we have to haul it all back to New York! I'm not sure they make suitcases big enough for all this junk!Even with all the princessing, it was a great day, and we're grateful we were able to be here in Utah to spend it with family and friends. I'll post a plethora of the princess of Christmas pictures as soon as I find the appropriate USB cable for the camera--apparently, I forgot it in New York. It turns out that it is a bit of a challenge to remember to pack everything you need for four people for two weeks as well as for Christmas, and the poor old USB cable got left behind.
