several days late and probably at least a dollar short

My life currently feels like everything is several days late and at least a dollar short. I think there was a time in my life in the very distant past where I was more on top of things. I don't remember it very well. Right now I feel like I am behind on everything. I don't really have a good excuse for it, either. I sometimes think that I never really recovered my with-it-ness after Sarah was born. Maybe this is just the way I am now. I sent out our Christmas cards yesterday (as in December 27th). David suggested I should have just done them digitally and e-mailed them out, and I think he was right. They probably would have made it before Christmas if I had done that. Now I'm just hoping they make it before New Year's Day. Lofty goal, eh?! Watch for yours to arrive in your mailbox soon. If you don't get one, it's probably because we don't have your current address. If this is the case, please e-mail me your current address at aliciavawdrey@gmail.com

I don't think it's possible to be totally on top of things after having kids. Life get crazier and crazier! For any super moms out there who are on top of everything, you have my admiration!

oh yes, and your Christmas card should meet up with you back in New York since I didn't get it done in time to reach you before you came out here!
