letter of the week

We are very lucky that the letter of the week is F as it fits really well with many of the things we would already have been doing this week. We've got lots of things planned and hope to be able to get them all done. Here they are:

• fly home to Utah
• visit with friends and family
• make a fire in the fireplace and roast marshmallows
• play with finger puppets
• draw funny faces
• paint a flowerpot and make flower pens to fill it
• play with pretend food
• make flying flapjacks
• eat fortune cookies (and Chinese food, of course)
• buy flowers
• fingerpainting
• make french bread
• eat french toast
• read fairy tales
• paint fingernails
• eat french fries
• talk about feelings and draw pictures
• make fingerprint/footprint pictures (check out this book)
• make a fleece hat or blanket
• make fruit kebabs or flowers
• go to Wheeler Farm(?) to see farm animals
• make flowers with buttons, coffee filters, tissue paper, etc.
• make something with foam shapes--maybe a picture frame
• play with foam shapes in the bath tub
• go to the fire station, count fire trucks that we see, visit the firemen
• make a flag(?)
• play go fish
• go fishing for directions to follow, chores to do, letters, sounds, numbers, or words
• feed the birds in the park
• make fondue
• go on the ferris wheel(?)
