letter of the week

So letter E is a little bit more difficult to come up with ideas for. I've got some but not a lot. Let me know if you can think of any more E activities or ideas. This is what we'll be doing this week:
  • eating eggs-scrambled eggs, fluffo eggs, fried eggs, omelettes, and hard-boiled eggs (fortunately, Sarah loves eggs cooked in any fashion)
  • egg carton counting
  • playing eye spy
  • possibly coloring eggs (totally wrong season, but who cares?)
  • making animals out of egg cartons (egg carton crafts)
  • talking about ears & eyes
  • experiments (We've got a great book for this-The Everything Kids Science Experiments Book)
  • go exploring east on a walk
  • possibly making a bird feeder out of an egg carton
  • eat eggplant parmesan
  • reading Green Eggs & Ham

Perhaps some activities involving her coolest uncle would be in order.

And which one would that be?

Everywhere you go, have Sarah watch for EXIT signs or ENTER signs -- she can count how many she finds on your outings. Also, you can have her decorate or make envelopes and then use them for christmas cards or keep them for "L" week when you write letters.
